Youth Leadership Workshop
Many times youth aspire to become a leader, but do not possess the confidence or skills to do so. The EdVenture Group has developed the Youth Leadership Workshop to assist teens in effectively dealing with these issues. The purpose of the workshop, targeted at 8th grade students, is to provide leadership mentoring and team building experiences for students who may not have had the opportunity to participate in other leadership activities such as student council or sports teams, but have the desire and potential to become leaders in their peer groups.
Youth Leadership Workshops are usually limited to 10-12 students to allow for facilitation of small group activities. Each workshop is one day in length and held on site during normal school hours to eliminate any issues with student transportation. During the Youth Leadership Workshop, students take part in hands on learning activities and real-world scenarios to help strengthen their confidence and assist them in acquiring leadership skills.
