Susan Saltrick | Consultant
After an 18-year career in educational technology management with some of America’s leading publishers, Susan launched her company, Proteus Consulting, which focuses at the intersection of educational research and organizational change. She has worked with such clients as the Partnership for 21st Century Skills, the Center for Children and Technology, Harvard Graduate School of Education, Harvard Business School, the West Virginia Department of Education, and the Markle Foundation, as well as public and independent schools, school districts, and leading educational publishers.
She is a frequent writer and speaker on educational issues, and is the author of numerous policy briefs, educational white papers, research studies, and Harvard Business School teaching cases, as well as the book, Beyond the Classroom Door: Essentials for the 21st Century Teacher. She received her bachelor’s degree from Princeton University, her Master’s from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and her Ph.D. in Leadership, Policy, and Politics from Columbia University. Her dissertation centered on how school leaders navigate the complexity of accountability.
